About the position

The CFAM Manager - Maintenance at PSEG is responsible for providing governance, oversight, and support for the Salem and Hope Creek site Maintenance, Work Management, Outage Services, and Projects departments. This role ensures that activities are safe, reliable, and efficient, aligning with PSEG Nuclear and Corporation goals. The manager will participate in industry working groups to identify maintenance issues and best practices, chair the Maintenance Peer Team, and facilitate the transfer of knowledge across stations. The position emphasizes the establishment of standards and expectations for nuclear maintenance personnel, fostering a professional work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish fleet-wide best practices and develop standardized policies, programs, and processes for PSEG Nuclear.
  • Ensure consistency between sites through the implementation of standardized policies and best practices.
  • Provide oversight of functional area policies and programs using assessments and performance indicators.
  • Facilitate and manage functional area improvement initiatives and resource sharing opportunities.
  • Gather functional area health information for initiative development.
  • Ensure effective fleet-wide actions are identified and implemented through the Corrective Action Program (CAP).
  • Manage external relationships with regulatory agencies and industry groups.
  • Facilitate support from site and industry experts for significant emergent issues.
  • Issue Areas of Concern (AOC) when issues are not adequately addressed.
  • Develop a functional area scorecard.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering or related science degree.
  • 7-10 years of Nuclear power plant experience.
  • Working knowledge of Maintenance, Work Management, Outage Management, and/or Projects Programs.
  • Must meet Nuclear's requirements for unescorted plant access.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree.
  • Established relationships with external agencies and industry experts.
  • SRO License or certification.
  • Multi-site experience.
