The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position at our commercial HVAC company in Walton Hills, OH, is a pivotal role responsible for leading the financial activities of the organization. With over 25 years of industry experience, our company has seen significant growth in the past decade, providing facility system services and energy solutions. The CFO will play a crucial role in overseeing financial reporting, managing accounting functions, implementing cost controls, and ensuring adherence to operating metrics and budgets in accordance with GAAP principles. This position requires a strategic mindset to report cash flow forecasts and manage loans and covenants effectively. As the CFO, you will lead a team of six direct reports, including accounts payable/receivable personnel, accountants, and a service accounts receivable manager. Your leadership will be essential in guiding the financial direction of the company, ensuring that all financial activities align with the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial HVAC or plumbing, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance is required, while an MBA is preferred to enhance your strategic financial management capabilities. This full-time position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, requiring in-person attendance at our Walton Hills location.
