About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Rainy Lake Medical Center is responsible for safeguarding the facility's assets and ensuring that financial statements and records are prepared in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role involves ensuring adherence to company financial policies and procedures, maintaining effective internal controls, and participating in the development and implementation of strategic business plans as a key member of the Executive Team. The CFO will also engage regularly with various internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the facility's assets.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and records in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with company financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective internal controls in both design and operation.
• Participate in establishing and implementing strategic business plans for the facility.
• Communicate regularly with internal and external constituents, including regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Experience in strategic planning and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage financial risks and ensure compliance.
