About the position

The CFO will oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations for a non-profit organization during a 3-6 month engagement. This role involves managing month-end close processes, financial reporting, and analysis, while also identifying opportunities for improvement in existing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day finance and accounting oversight for the organization.
• Manage month-end close processes, including preparation and presentation of monthly financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting with relevant laws and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in existing financial policies and procedures.
• Conduct cash flow analysis, forecasting, and management.
• Develop effective strategies for financial performance and growth.
• Liaise with stakeholders and senior executives to communicate financial information and insights.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Proven experience in developing effective strategies for financial performance and growth.
• Strong understanding of budgeting processes, including planning, development, and implementation.
• Proficient in cash flow analysis, forecasting, and management.
• Extensive knowledge in financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Experience in managing month-end close processes.
• Advanced proficiency in using financial software and databases for financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant professional qualification such as a CPA or CFA is preferred.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
