About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives. This role requires a strong background in finance, along with excellent leadership skills to supervise the finance department effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all public accounting requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate finance environment with at least 5-7 years experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts, and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks required.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising finance teams effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey financial information clearly to multiple stakeholders at all levels.
