About the position

The Director of Finance, Banking, and Treasury is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company within the Energy industry. This position involves managing financial operations, developing strategic financial plans, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing the company's financial leverage and managing relationships with financial service providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage company-wide financial operations including Debt Capital Management, AR Factoring, Forex, SCF, Working Capital, and Credit Risk.
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans to align with company objectives.
• Manage relationships with financial service providers, including banks and investment advisors.
• Oversee the treasury function, ensuring liquidity for operational needs and managing bank relationships.
• Develop and implement robust financial risk management processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions.
• Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization to improve overall operation and effectiveness.
• Continually improve the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the Energy industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in AR Factoring, Forex, SCF, Working Capital, and Credit Risk.
• Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
• Proficient in using financial software and MS Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Proven ability to see the big picture and also dive into the unique, detailed aspects of financial management.
