We have a great opportunity to join the Ascension Finance and Wisconsin Team as a CFO at All Saints Hospital. The Hospital CFO is a Strategic Leader, responsible for refining and improving existing business models and developing new business models for current and future changes to health care economics. Keys to the success of this position will be strong strategic skills, leadership ability, and knowledge base to help integrate various Ascension-wide strategies, optimize financial performance, and develop business models for strategic opportunities including new ventures, partnerships, and continuum of care business development planning and expansion. As an integral member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will share responsibility for organizational strategic planning, oversight, decision making, and change management. This role requires aligning work to the larger strategic plan and assuming a lead role in oversight of financial policy, programs, processes, and research. The CFO will determine priorities and plans, set clear goals and accountabilities for finance staff, monitor progress, and assure targets are reached. Additionally, the CFO will provide expertise associated with business and finance issues, support spiritual formation programs, and champion those that relate to financial leaders. In terms of talent management, the CFO will work with the Hospital Presidents and System leadership to develop finance team and partnering strategies to meet organizational needs. This includes motivating and engaging non-financial leaders, physicians, and clinical staff, providing education, supervision, coaching, performance management, and career development opportunities. The CFO will also address behavioral and procedural concerns, resolve conflicts, and take corrective and disciplinary action as necessary. The CFO will drive utilization management to ensure effective use of organizational resources and reduce the cost of care delivery. This includes analyzing and achieving efficiency in the delivery of care and supply chain opportunities while applying principles of process management and control. The CFO will partner with other leaders to manage financial relationships, eliminate waste, and reduce unnecessary expenses. Furthermore, the CFO will provide financial vision and advice on the development and implementation of new service lines and growth opportunities, formulating and implementing strategic and tactical plans to grow market share. The role also involves identifying, assessing, and catalyzing potential organizational alliances that help achieve the ministry's strategic vision. The CFO will develop and maintain relationships with physician groups, other healthcare providers, research groups, and academic institutions for business collaboration.
