We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our clients' financial operations in a dynamic real estate development environment. The CFO will play a critical role as part of the executive leadership team, overseeing all financial functions including planning, analysis, accounting, and investor relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or a related industry, with a proven track record in financial management and strategic growth. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring the preparation and presentation of precise financial statements and reports, aligning with GAAP and industry standards. This role requires overseeing and regulating cash flow to maintain adequate liquidity for operational demands and strategic investments. The CFO will direct daily accounting operations, including the management of accounts payable, and supervise accounting for construction projects, encompassing job cost tracking, project budgeting, and profitability assessments. In addition, the CFO will formulate and enforce financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive the company's growth and operational objectives. They will provide the CEO and executive team with strategic recommendations based on thorough financial analysis and projections, focusing on profitability and cost control. Leading the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling, is also a key responsibility. The CFO will establish and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure financial integrity. Moreover, the CFO will oversee the preparation and review of AIA forms, ensuring billing accuracy, contract compliance, and timely payment submissions. They will manage the financial aspects of construction contracts, including change orders, contract modifications, and adherence to payment schedules, ensuring meticulous tracking of contract terms and project milestones. Collaboration with field teams on the financial aspects of construction projects is essential to ensure financial performance meets project goals. The CFO will also identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding the company's financial health. Finally, the CFO will coordinate and manage both internal and external audits, ensuring their timely completion and addressing any findings effectively, while serving as the primary contact for financial matters with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and investors.
