About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at RK Pharma Inc. will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial functions of the company and its subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be integral to the senior management team, involved in strategic decision-making and managing the company's financial resources, accounting, and treasury practices. This position requires leadership in financial direction, budget development, and coordination of audits, while also ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall financial direction to group companies to fulfill their obligations and financial objectives, including the development of an annual budget.
• Interface with the Board of Directors, Committees, and Senior Management regarding financial statements and the overall financial state of the companies.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for distribution and review by management and the Board of Directors.
• Coordinate annual internal and external audits of the company's financial statements.
• Lead finance/accounting projects, including the development and implementation of an inventory costing system.
• Contribute to strategic planning and incentive plans for operational improvements.
• Prepare month, quarter, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop an annual budget for the Company and report on budget to actual variances.
• Manage accounting staff and oversee finance and accounting processes, ensuring effective internal controls.

Requirements

• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct financial and operational experience in a management role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including experience with QuickBooks and other financial systems.
• Exceptional knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting for mid-sized companies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with an international team.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of international financial systems, especially those of India.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
