About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Cape Fear Country Club will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the club, which has a rich history dating back to 1896. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring the club maintains its status as a premier country club in North Carolina by demonstrating exceptional leadership, integrity, and financial acumen. This position is set to begin in October 2024 and requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, enjoys challenges, and can maintain a big-picture focus while managing the club's financial health.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the club.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the club's mission.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the board and management.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Supervise the finance and accounting team.
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
• Implement financial controls and risk management strategies.
