About the position

B3H is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of the company. The CFO will integrate financial discipline across all business practices, ensuring the delivery of efficient accounting systems and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves safeguarding company assets, managing financial risks, and providing transparent financial information to support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the President and senior leadership to develop financial policies aligned with business plans.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to the President for decision-making.
  • Align financial resource allocation with company goals through forecasting and analytical insights.
  • Maintain internal financial controls and report potential financial risks promptly.
  • Coordinate with external financial partners and customers.
  • Oversee cash management functions, including cash flow forecasting and strategic cash usage recommendations.
  • Manage the Financial (GAAP) Audit and Internal Control testing by Independent Auditor.
  • Submit Federal, State, and Payroll related tax forms and filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial information for RFPs and RFQs for various contract types.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Master's degree is desired.
  • Progressive work experience in managing finances and a Finance Department in a privately owned company is highly preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in accounting or fiscal management is preferred.
  • Required knowledge of federal contracting/funding experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, and other relevant financial software.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DFAR is required.
  • Experience in preparing financial proposals for RFPs and RFQs, including labor and billing for various contract types is necessary.
  • Impeccable integrity and honesty are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present in a group setting.
