About the position

Vaco is seeking a strong Construction CFO to join a dynamic company in the Phoenix area. In this role, you'll oversee accounting operations, drive process improvements, ensure compliance, and position the company for successful growth. This organization is debt-free and has over 40 years of experience, trending for another record year of growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 3-5 individuals within the organization.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and create KPIs to generate results.
• Assist with acquisition and taking the company to the next level.
• Work with department managers on financial management and how to hit the organization's EBITDA goal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of experience as a VP or CFO within the construction industry.
• 5+ years of experience with industry software such as Foundation, Timberline, Aspire or B2W.
• Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting and integrating KPIs.

Nice-to-haves

• CPA or CMA certification is a huge plus but not required.
• Experience working for a company with over $50 million in revenue.
