About the position

The CFO/Controller will oversee the Credit and Lending activities for a small department within a Financial Services Company located in Towaco, NJ. This role involves managing a team responsible for Banking Activity and Month End Close Processing, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. The position requires on-site presence five days a week and offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $175,000.

Responsibilities

• Manage Credit & Collection staff
• Manage Lending and Banking activity
• Manage and Prepare Financial Statement Analysis
• Manage Month end accounting close
• Approve Journal Entries
• Manage Bank Reconciliations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• At least 5 years of Credit / Accounting experience
• Heavy Lending and Credit Experience
• Advanced Excel experience (pivot + vlookups)
• Small Team Management Experience
• Ability to work on-site
