About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This position not only manages finances but also engages in human resources, negotiations, legal matters, information technology, and real estate. The CFO collaborates closely with the President and the executive management team to ensure transparency in financial data and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting activities and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist the President and Board of Directors with financial leadership and planning.
• Manage relationships with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community.
• Provide complete visibility into financial data to support decision-making.
• Lead budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory issues and tax planning.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a Controller or Chief Financial Officer role.
• Proven experience providing financial leadership in a high-growth, multi-state environment.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Understanding of advanced accounting and regulatory issues.
• Experience with general ledger functions and financial statement preparation.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
