About the position

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The CFO will oversee cash-based accounting processes and drive financial planning and analysis to support the organization's growth. This role is critical in ensuring financial stability and guiding strategic business decisions through effective financial management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's structure, ensuring consistent growth and stability.
• Provide insights into financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities at both the entity and consolidated levels.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, focusing on optimizing liquidity.
• Ensure accurate cash-based accounting across all entities, maintaining a consistent approach to cash flow management.
• Develop procedures for inter-entity transactions to prevent discrepancies and ensure seamless cash flow across the company.
• Lead the preparation of entity-level and consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with cash-based accounting standards.
• Consolidate financial data across entities, providing actionable insights and reporting that guide strategic business decisions.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Manage cash flow for each entity, ensuring that sufficient liquidity is available to support operations, capital needs, and intercompany obligations.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team skilled in multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and compliance.

Requirements

• CPA REQUIRED
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required
• Must have knowledge of Business systems
• Strategic Tax Planning
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions
• Auditing skills are required
• Experience with Budget Processes is essential
• Proficiency in Capital Management is expected
• Must have experience in Cash Flow Analysis
