About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the YMCA of the Fox Cities is a strategic leadership role responsible for fostering a culture of financial excellence and aligning the organization with its core values. The CFO will oversee the finance department and shared services, ensuring the long-term success and viability of the organization while collaborating with senior leadership, including the CEO and COO, on business operations and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the finance department.
• Manage finance shared services and technology for the organization.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure strategic alignment of business operations.
• Lead the development and management of a budget exceeding $25 million.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting and cash management standards.
• Implement and manage finance and operational software solutions.
• Foster a culture of empowerment, competence, and innovation within the finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
• Seven or more years of relevant experience in accounting and fiscal management.
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience managing a budget of $25 million or more.
• Knowledge of budget development, financial reporting, cash management, business taxes, and debt financing instruments.
• Proficiency in finance and operational software, including software selection and implementation.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Office Suite.
• Experience in investment management and asset allocation preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a staff team effectively.
