About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the company. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public accounting and a deep understanding of financial strategy and planning. The CFO will be responsible for developing and executing the company's financial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth while balancing profit generation with effective cost management. This includes identifying investment opportunities and managing mergers and acquisitions to enhance the company's market position. In addition to strategic planning, the CFO will focus on risk management and decision-making. This involves analyzing liabilities and investments to mitigate financial risks, deciding on investment strategies that consider cash flow and liquidity, and evaluating fundraising plans to optimize the capital structure. The CFO will also ensure that the company maintains appropriate cash flow for day-to-day operations, monitoring financial stability and recommending adjustments as necessary. Collaboration with the CEO will be essential to align financial practices with the overall business goals of the organization. Leadership and team management are critical components of this role. The CFO will supervise finance personnel, including controllers and treasurers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment. Oversight of accounting procedures and financial reporting will also fall under the CFO's responsibilities, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial documentation.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of combined experience in both public accounting and industry.
  • Preferably, experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly in a Standard Costing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven track record in financial management and decision-making.
