About the position

An innovative global technology and telecommunications company is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team based out of Chicago, IL. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to oversee financial operations, spearhead mergers and acquisitions, and drive strategic financial planning and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in M&A, ERP implementation, and financial management, with a robust background in the technology or telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial control environment to mitigate risks
• Oversee cash flow management, including debt collection, accounts payables, stock-taking, and forecasting
• Ensure robust record-keeping for audit trails and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration, drive growth initiatives and cost optimization strategies
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end IFRS financial reporting for international counterparts
• Conduct financial evaluations and optimize the P&L from top to bottom
• Oversight of the operational finance teams to ensure efficient functioning of all financial related duties

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in financial management, with 5+ years at senior level
• Strong background in the Technology industry
• CPA required
• Experience with M&A and ERP implementation
• Experience with small company finances preferred
• Experience with Business Central is a plus
• International experience or IFRS preferred
• Highly developed communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule from their office in the Chicago Metropolitan Area
