About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in guiding the financial strategy and operations of the company. This position is responsible for overseeing financial decision-making, managing regional P&L, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The CFO will also support corporate activities such as mergers and acquisitions and will be a key liaison between operations and auditors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide decision-making support to all functional areas and Senior Leadership.
  • Report risk issues to President and Group CFO.
  • Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for regional P & L, revenue growth and EBIT targets.
  • Planning, budgeting, forecasting and business analysis.
  • Prepare annual budget and monthly reports to headquarter including KPI, Operating Index, Budget Comparison and Variance Analysis, Cash Flow Forecast.
  • Working capital management and improvement.
  • Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings in North & South America.
  • Treasury (operational cash flow and forecast), supplier credit and customer collection.
  • Support corporate level activities such as mergers and acquisitions, regulatory bodies, shareholder/investor relationship and transactions, banking and financing relationships, strategic business and operational plans and projects.
  • Manage loan package through monthly Borrowing Base Certificate, monitoring Financial Covenants and handling bank audit. Maintenance Price Control in ERP system.
  • Manage and analyze periodic Purchasing Price Variance.
  • Managing manufacturing costing and stand cost system.
  • Conduct ongoing cost analyses.
  • Report on margins by product and customer.
  • Accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting and Fixed Asset.
  • Monitor month-end and year-end close process.
  • Support all other department activities as necessary.
  • Renew and maintain annual company Insurance Package.
  • Serve as primary liaison between the operations and its external/internal auditors.
  • Oversee the implementation of a new cost-efficient ERP system.
  • Staff development through ongoing trainings.
  • Travel inside and outside the United States whenever necessary.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years' automotive experience.
  • 10+ years' progressive responsibilities managing accounting/finance teams in multi-entities and multi-national environment.
  • Broad experience in all aspects of accounting.
  • Experience in strategic business planning.
