About the position

The CFO will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining relationships with auditors, vendors, and investors. This position requires strong analytical and strategic planning skills, as well as the ability to lead and develop the finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship with independent auditors
  • Own vendor relationships
  • Manage internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
  • Strategically manage the accounting and finance functions
  • Own process improvement for the integrity of a company's financial information
  • Hire, train and retain accounting and finance staff
  • Sustain relationships with investors and investment institutions
  • Examine the organization's operations and determine if cash flow is appropriate
  • Identify and control business risks and insurance requirements
  • Ensure staff compliance with state and federal laws and company's policies
  • Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades
  • Supervise all finance personnel
