About the position

The CFO will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of a growing international company based in Tampa, FL. This position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and managing relationships with banks. The CFO will lead a team of 3-4 individuals within a larger accounting team of approximately 12 people, ensuring that all financials are accurate and in order.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all strategic initiatives related to financial operations.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Work closely with banks to maintain financial relationships.
• Ensure the accounting team is operating effectively and all financials are accurate.
• Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Valid CPA license is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CFO position.
• Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
• Experience working in a law firm is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
