About the position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role at Robert Half involves overseeing all financial operations within the company, providing strong leadership and financial acumen. The CFO will manage various divisions, ensure financial transparency, and make strategic financial decisions to maintain the company's financial health, particularly in the construction or contractor industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all financial operations within the company
  • Lead a team and serve as the point of contact for internal discussions
  • Utilize knowledge of agriculture, farming, or construction to inform financial decisions
  • Exhibit strong principles and resilience in dealing with demanding situations
  • Manage Accounting Software Systems and CRM to maintain accurate financial records
  • Execute Accounting Functions and Auditing to ensure financial transparency
  • Oversee Budget Processes and Capital Management to ensure financial health of the company
  • Conduct Cash Flow Analysis to inform financial decisions and strategies
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably as a CFO within the construction or contractor industry
  • Proficiency in using accounting software systems and CRM
  • Comprehensive understanding of all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Experience in conducting internal and external audits
  • Demonstrable experience in budget processes including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making, and reporting
  • Proven expertise in capital management and investment strategies
  • Proficiency in cash flow analysis and economic forecasting
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
