About the position

The CFO will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of a leading national non-profit organization. This position involves overseeing the accounting staff, analyzing financial data, and preparing budgets and financial projections. The CFO will also contribute to the organization's mission-driven initiatives and support the overall restructuring efforts to improve processes and team dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
• Reconcile subledgers
• Oversee an accounting staff of 3-5
• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial data and reports
• Prepare and present financial projections
• Prepare and present budgets for assigned programs
• Assist with other projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 7+ years of nonprofit experience
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Grant accounting experience
