About the position

The Experienced Field Service Representative at Boeing Global Services is responsible for providing technical field support for the CH47 Heavy Lift aircraft. This role involves troubleshooting, customer interaction, and training, with a focus on maintaining high operational standards. The position requires travel to various global locations and the ability to meet international assignment health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems.
• Provide customer-focused technical field support of CH47 aircraft for Boeing's customers globally.
• Aid customers in troubleshooting procedures for drives, propulsion, pneudraulic, electrical, and armament systems.
• Resolve maintenance and operational issues.
• Interpret technical documents and monitor product performances.
• Develop and conduct ad hoc training in an informal/on-the-job training environment.
• Respond to operational issues by interpreting technical documents to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in support of maintenance events.
• Collaborate with company organizations to isolate equipment problems not detected by diagnostics and standard documentation.
• Collect technical data and evaluate maintenance procedures to address potential support issues.
• Manage field office resources and maintain company presence.
• Prepare and submit required data using various reporting methods with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Interface with all levels of customer organizations.
• Interpret technical drawings and data to rectify aircraft mechanical and electrical issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining US Army CH-47 or International variant Chinooks.
• Willingness and ability to deploy/travel to various locations on potentially short notice.
• Possess a current US Passport.
• Applicable educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with international assignments and cultural adaptability.
• Familiarity with MS Office for reporting and remote communications.
