About the position
The Sign Spinner/Budtender position at Chalice Cannabis is a dynamic hybrid role that combines outdoor marketing with customer service. The ideal candidate will be energetic and adaptable, responsible for attracting customers to the store through sign spinning while also providing excellent service as a budtender. This role requires a strong presence and the ability to engage with the community, primarily at the Tigard location, with some support for the Dundee store.
Responsibilities
- Stand for extended periods while holding or spinning signs to attract attention.
- Follow all safety guidelines and best practices to ensure safety.
- Use energy to capture attention through tricks, dance moves, or engaging with pedestrians.
- Represent the company with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Stay knowledgeable about cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and trends.
- Keep the store tidy, safe, and visually appealing.
- Greet customers warmly and ensure they feel welcomed and respected.
- Adhere to state regulations and company policies regarding cannabis sales and handling.
- Efficiently use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system for transactions and cash handling.
- Verify customer paperwork, IDs, and any required documentation in accordance with OLCC regulations.
- Support consistent store organization, cleanliness, and compliance.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation to work across Tigard and Dundee locations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit.
