The Change & Communications Manager at Starr And Associates LLC is a pivotal role focused on driving change management and communication strategies to enhance client engagement and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • Create, communicate, and implement change management strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to assess change requirements and develop comprehensive change management strategies.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of change management efforts.
  • Develop and manage workforce communication and engagement strategies using various communication tools.
  • Create high-quality written materials for communication channels, including leader messaging and internal announcements.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to understand key stakeholder needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to gather feedback and foster open communication.
  • Collaborate with the learning and development team to develop training programs that support change initiatives.
  • Deliver training sessions to equip associates with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate changes.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders to help them effectively lead their teams through change.
  • Collect feedback from associates and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in change strategies and communication plans.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in change management and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Management, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Change Management certification (ACMP/PROSCI training/certification preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in internal corporate communication or related areas.
  • Proven experience in change management, organizational development, or related roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable for different audiences and channels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Project management skills, including managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in developing and executing complex project plans and associated communications and change management strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with communication and collaboration tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in Agile PM structures
  • MBA or similar advanced degree
  • Construction experience
  • Experience with JIRA or other Agile tools/reporting applications
  • Experience in operations, process redesign and change management
