As a managed service provider, RapidScale is a fast-paced, ever-evolving solution provider for small to enterprise businesses. RapidScale is looking to hire a Change Control Manager to support the alignment and changes throughout the RapidScale organization in conjunction with Cox Business/Cox Communications. The Change Control Manager must work across the aisle and through many others in the organization to succeed. Acting as a coach for senior leaders and employees alike, this person helps leaders fulfill the critical role of change management sponsor. As our Change Control Manager, you may support and coach people managers and supervisors as they help their teams. Similarly, you will support project managers and project teams to integrate change management activities with their project plan. You will be responsible for coordinating, auditing, gathering metrics, and reporting on them for change requests across the organization. The primary goal of this role will be to maintain RapidScale's change control process and coordinate with various teams throughout the organization to ensure changes are properly communicated and implemented. In this role, you will apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities, leveraging a change management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes. You will enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key internal and external communications, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and customer notices to ensure adherence to best practices and defined standards. Conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs to help employees understand and adapt to change. Continuous improvement will be a focus, as you will create and utilize metrics to make data-driven decisions on the success of the change management process.

Responsibilities

  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
  • Leverage a change management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes.
  • Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key internal and external communications.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs to help employees understand and adapt to change.
  • Create and utilize metrics to make data-driven decisions on the success of the change management process.
  • Complete change management assessments.
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
  • Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance.
  • Consult and coach technical teams.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan.
  • Support and engage senior leaders.
  • Coach people managers and supervisors.
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists.
  • Evaluate and ensure change readiness.
  • Manage stakeholders.
  • Audit, track, and report gaps and issues.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Support change management at the organizational level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field.
  • Alternatively, a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
