The Change Control Manager (CCM) is a pivotal role within the Program Management Organization at Trident Maritime Systems, primarily responsible for overseeing the development and management of changes and modifications related to customers and suppliers. This position entails handling various aspects of change requests, including customer change requests, internal modifications, and producibility business cases, as well as assisting in the make-buy process. The CCM plays a crucial role in planning, procurement, and engineering of approved changes and modifications, ensuring that all changes are effectively communicated and managed throughout the organization. In this role, the CCM will work closely with Trident's Program Manager (PM) to facilitate customer negotiations and participate in customer meetings as necessary. Strong leadership, reporting, and presentation skills are essential, as the CCM serves as the focal point for all change development and reporting. Regular interaction with planning, production, engineering, and supply chain personnel is required to gather material and labor estimates, which are critical for creating accurate labor and material cost estimates. The CCM is responsible for completing the necessary change forms and final pricing for proposed changes, as well as briefing senior management, including the Regional VP, GM, and PMs, on estimates, risks, and primary cost drivers. The position also involves overseeing the incorporation of changes across the organization, with a focus on budget and schedule impacts. Additionally, the CCM assists the PM in negotiating customer changes and supports the Supply Chain in supplier claim recoveries. The role requires the preparation of various reports, charts, and graphs to keep management informed about program, project, or contract status, and maintaining a comprehensive Master Change/Claims log for all open and closed changes and claims.
