About the position

The Change Management and Communications Manager at Takeda is responsible for leading and supporting the operational implementation of change management services to enhance the employee experience during transitions. This role focuses on executing change management and communication activities that facilitate the adoption of new processes and technologies, aligning with Takeda's digital ambitions. The manager will prepare change management assets, monitor change processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor change based on process data and additional gathered information to identify appropriate measures.
  • Apply Project Management practices in change management and communication, including project planning, milestone management, status tracking, and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and oversight of resources, executing activities as required.
  • Implement continuous improvement ideas to ensure effective change management.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements within change management and communications methods.
  • On-board new team members by providing a thorough introduction to change and communications practices.
  • Support other team activities and participate in community activities to foster internal collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Change Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management in a global setting, preferably in IT.
  • Experience managing change in a diverse data and digital technology landscape.
  • Ability to manage change in a cross-functional organization and adapt to ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work successfully in multicultural teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business acumen.
  • Efficient time management and coordination of tasks in an international environment.
  • Solid IT skills and a quick learner of new systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital technology implementations.
  • Familiarity with training material development and training effectiveness assessment.
