About the position

The TO Manager, Project and Change Management is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of integrated project plans and change management strategies for key initiatives within the Transformation Office at US Foods. This remote position collaborates with various stakeholders across the organization to lead projects and deliver solutions that embed change and ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and impact analysis.
  • Create and implement project plans with integrated change strategies, covering scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct meetings, including kick-off sessions, status updates, and reviews to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Create a supportive team environment that encourages collaboration and open communication.
  • Continuously track progress, identify dependencies, and address risks promptly, developing mitigation plans as needed.
  • Assess project outcomes and document lessons learned to refine strategies for future initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in orchestrating project change and managing projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with business leaders.
  • Understanding of business strategy, operating models, and organizational structures.
  • Knowledge of contemporary organizational change methodologies and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to navigate complex and diverse situations, comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Creative problem-solving skills for addressing organizational resistance to change.
  • Strong coordination and planning skills for managing scheduling, resources, scope, budget, risks/issues, and communication.
  • Experience in building and nurturing cross-functional relationships to align actions, share resources, and accomplish goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and anticipate risks.
  • Proficient with project management tools, and/or other project management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in internal or external consulting with associated skills (project management, influencing skills, relationship management).
  • Certification in change management preferred (e.g PROSCI).
  • Certification in project management preferred (e.g., PMP, CAPM, CPM, CSM, or PMI-ACP).
