About the position

Peraton is seeking a detail-oriented Change Management Associate to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be worked remotely. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) Program, for the US Coast Guard (CG). This initiative is modernizing and consolidating the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CG's customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all changes to the IT environment are executed smoothly, minimizing disruptions to services, and aligning with the ITIL framework. The role requires strong leadership skills and extensive experience with the Remedy ticketing system. In this role, you will perform the enterprise change management process, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices. You will oversee the assessment, prioritization, and approval of changes within the IT environment, coordinating with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure changes are implemented with minimal disruption to services. Maintaining accurate records of all changes using the Remedy ticketing system is crucial, as is facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review and approve proposed changes. You will also monitor and report on change management metrics, including success rates, impact analysis, and risk assessments. Additionally, you will develop and deliver training and guidance on change management processes to IT teams and stakeholders, identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the change management process, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements during change implementation.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 9 years with High School Diploma/equivalent.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must have a minimum of a Secret clearance (or higher).
  • Extensive experience in change management, particularly within an IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Proficiency with the Remedy ticketing system.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
