About the position

As a Change Management Project Engineer at Micron Technology in Boise, you will play a pivotal role in the alignment, optimization, and troubleshooting of systems setup and operation procedures. This position involves collaboration with various teams, including Global Process Control, Traveler Control, Information System, area engineering, and production. Your primary focus will be on driving and assisting with projects related to various Micron Execution System (MES) applications, ensuring that best practices are implemented across the organization. You will lead local and global projects aimed at optimizing MES system setups, acting as the application owner responsible for providing training, feedback, and solutions to address any issues that arise. In this role, you will also be tasked with implementing software system improvements, updates, and upgrades, while ensuring that all team members complete their learning items within the stipulated time limits. Coordination of business processes and Quality Management System (QMS) components will be essential to ensure efficiency and adherence to requirements, ultimately leading to the successful delivery of intended outputs. You will promote a customer-focused approach both internally and externally, maintaining the integrity of the QMS/business process during planned changes to meet customer requirements effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and assist with projects related to various Micron Execution System (MES) applications.
  • Align and optimize system setups globally, focusing on Best-Known Methods for Traveler and Process Control.
  • Lead local and global projects aimed at optimizing MES system setup.
  • As the application owner, provide training, feedback, and solutions for fixing issues to the team.
  • Implement software system improvements, updates, and upgrades.
  • Ensure all team members complete their learning items within the stipulated time limit.
  • Coordinate the business processes and QMS components, ensuring efficiency, adherence to requirements, and successful delivery of intended outputs.
  • Promote internal and external customer focus throughout the organization.
  • Maintain the integrity of the QMS/business process during planned changes, ensuring customer requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data in large meetings.
  • Proven ability to coordinate efforts across various groups.
  • Working knowledge of Fab processing.
  • Strong data analysis and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in coordinating and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to make sound, informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate meetings.
  • Working knowledge of MES applications.
  • Desired: 1 year of semiconductor experience.
