About the position

The Change & Enablement Manager for Global HR Operations will work closely with BCG's HR function, digital technology experts, and the broader organization to develop and deliver an integrated enablement strategy. This strategy is designed to support the ongoing implementation and adoption of Workday, a cloud-based Human Capital Management system, as well as projects that support Global HR Operations and the continuous change within BCG's HR operating model and shared services. The role involves owning the end-to-end delivery of enablement and change projects, from strategy formulation to implementation, ensuring the adoption of current functionalities and the successful implementation of new functionalities. As part of a growing change and enablement cadre within BCG's HR Portfolio, which is one of the largest and most dynamic segments within BCG's Digital Products Organization, you will play a crucial role in enabling technology for various HR functions, including Recruiting, Staffing, Learning & Development (L&D), Next Generation Ways of Working, Mobility, and Workday systems. The HR Portfolio employs Agile methodologies, and therefore, we are seeking a candidate who embodies an Agile mindset and can model behaviors that support the organization's transformation towards Agile ways of working. In this position, you will actively manage the release strategy and enablement goals for the Workday squads, which include Agile team leadership roles such as Agile Coaches, Product Owners, Chapter Leads, and Centers of Expertise within the HR Portfolio. You will also coordinate with Scrum Masters to manage release timing and prioritization within our Agile squads, ensuring on-time delivery in alignment with the overall project goals. This role is pivotal in helping BCG's clients activate ideas and solutions to leverage new opportunities, working as part of a robust team of 80,000 professionals serving over 6,000 clients, including 80% of the Fortune 500, across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an integrated enablement strategy for Workday and Global HR Operations.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of enablement and change projects from strategy to implementation.
  • Support the adoption of current functionalities and the implementation of new functionalities in Workday.
  • Manage the release strategy and enablement goals for Workday squads.
  • Coordinate with Agile team leadership, including Agile Coaches, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
  • Model Agile behaviors to support the organization's transformation to Agile ways of working.
  • Collaborate with various HR functions to enable technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in change management and enablement strategies within HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of Workday or similar Human Capital Management systems.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end project delivery in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead and motivate Agile teams and manage release strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with HR operating models and shared services.
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment.
