The global Information Technology (IT) function at Corning is pivotal in aligning IT with business strategy, optimizing processes, and enhancing information integration technologies. This position is focused on managing Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities for an ERP transformation project, which will significantly impact Corning employees by introducing new capabilities through changes to the ERP system. The Organizational Change Management Manager will act as an internal consultant, collaborating with OCM resources across the ERP transformation to ensure a cohesive strategy that integrates communication, change management, and training activities. The role is essential in driving faster adoption and higher utilization of the changes that affect employees, ultimately enhancing their proficiency with the new systems. The Transformation Organizational Change Management Manager will lead and implement change management activities specifically for the ERP SAP/S4 Hana deployments. This includes designing, developing, and executing OCM activities in alignment with established change management methodologies. The manager will integrate these activities into project plans and create actionable deliverables focusing on three key change management levers: Organizational Change Management, Communications, and Training. The role requires identifying and managing stakeholders, conducting workshops, supporting senior leaders, and tracking the success of change management initiatives. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining communication content to engage and enable impacted users, as well as regionalizing training and communication materials as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement change management activities for the ERP SAP/S4 Hana deployments.
  • Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in alignment with change management methodologies.
  • Design, develop, and execute planned OCM activities as per the overall program OCM strategy.
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Create actionable deliverables for Organizational Change Management, Communications, and Training.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders and sponsors for deployment, assessing change impact.
  • Conduct OCM focused workshops and early engagement activities.
  • Support and engage senior leaders in the change effort.
  • Track and report change management adoption and successes.
  • Create and maintain communication content using various tools and vehicles.
  • Manage the process for regionalizing training and communications content as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience at Corning.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and delivering change management work driven by an ERP implementation.
  • Change management certification (e.g., CCMP, Prosci) or similar designation is desired.
  • SAP S4/Hana or PS functional knowledge.
  • Experience executing OCM communications, training, and change management activities for an ERP implementation.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong active listening and engagement skills.
  • Experience with project management approaches and tools.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous or ad-hoc situations and be flexible and adaptable.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to influence others towards a common vision or goal.
