About the position

The Change Management Partner IV at Hanger, Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for leading transformational change initiatives across the organization. This position collaborates with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective planning, execution, and sustainment of change management strategies that align with the organization's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in change management, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in managing complex transformations while fostering a positive change culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans for assigned initiatives to support Hanger's enterprise transformation strategy.
  • Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in accordance with Hanger's change management methodology.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business objectives and assess the impact of change.
  • Partner with the EPMO and Project Leads to develop communication and training plans.
  • Conduct impact assessments to identify risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with change.
  • Lead readiness assessments and create mitigation plans to address resistance and readiness gaps.
  • Work with functional leaders to integrate change management practices into ongoing projects and programs.
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs for change projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in change management or a related role.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformations, ideally within complex or matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and managing change at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Process, etc.).
  • Proven experience in organizational development or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience managing multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential risks and develop appropriate solutions.
