The Change Management Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment, conducting safety audits, and participating in the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP). You will also manage queue time alerts and coordinate the start and stop of lot ordering. Your expertise will be essential in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Micron's GeRM, Sigma, SPC, and traveler systems. You will apply SPC, FDC, and 8D methodologies to identify and resolve process issues, analyze data to make critical decisions, and provide troubleshooting support for complex process challenges. Additionally, you will demonstrate expertise in driving area routine operations to meet throughput needs, identify inefficiencies, and work on resolving them through various improvement initiatives. You will also be responsible for updating and creating procedures to align with area practices, ensuring training materials are current, and assisting in the training of others. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Responsibilities

  • Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with safety policies.
  • Creates and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Performs safety audits and walkthroughs.
  • Supports established safety and quality processes consistently.
  • Participates in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) actions.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts.
  • Identifies and helps resolve training opportunities or procedure gaps.
  • Ensures the quality of task updates and passdowns.
  • Manages queue time alerts and helps coordinate when to stop/start lot ordering.
  • Sets up, maintains, and troubleshoots Micron's GeRM, Sigma, SPC, and traveler systems.
  • Defines, implements, and carries out the use of worldwide standards for all responsibilities listed.
  • Applies SPC, FDC, and 8D methodology to identify, diagnose, and resolve process issues.
  • Analyzes data using various application and engineering knowledge to make critical process decisions.
  • Provides troubleshooting support for complex process issues.
  • Coordinates and leads meetings; tracks action items and provides resources for timely closure of actions.
  • Performs project work to optimize wafer processing.
  • Demonstrates expertise in driving area routine operations to ensure throughput needs are accomplished.
  • Identifies chronic area inefficiencies and works on resolving them through CIP, area suggestions, or training.
  • Uses planning reports such as Workstation Constraints Reports, GANTT charts, and ToolMon to improve area constraints.
  • Proactively addresses operational inefficiencies by monitoring systems, addressing notifications, and raising issues.
  • Covers additional workstations and tasks during staffing shortages or at supervisor direction.
  • Monitors status of key bottlenecks and priority workstations throughout shift to ensure they are running efficiently.
  • Ensures task status is being updated and all relevant lot information is commented and passed down to the next shift.
  • Aims to shift game plan as developed by MA and Supervisor.
  • Partners with area engineering on workstation and operational enhancements.
  • Updates or helps create procedures to align with area practices and to support training.
  • Ensures Assessor checklists and other documents are kept up to date.
  • Participates in the integration of new Learning items in the area(s).
  • Performs area assessments and certifications on time.
  • Identifies the need and helps create training references.
  • Assists in the training of others as directed by leadership.
  • Ensures Best Known Methods (BKM's) are documented and shared with the team.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to accurately read and interpret verbal and written instructions to improve area efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in typing a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor production operations concepts.
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in multi-tasking and driving basic projects.
  • Basic understanding of SPC principles.
  • Proven ability to recognize performance gaps and identify steps to improve.
  • Proven ability to follow basic procedures and work with minimal supervision.
  • Two-year industry related associate degree or higher.
  • Industry experience or military training/experience.
  • Working towards a STEM related degree.
