About the position

The Change Control Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization program at GDIT. This position involves leading the change management process for large-scale federal programs, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of changes, and providing guidance to various stakeholders on change management procedures. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of ITIL principles and the ability to analyze complex engineering change requests.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Contractor Change Management Plan aligned with the customer's PMO Change Control Plan.
  • Lead change management work streams with a structured methodology/process for PMO and Task Orders.
  • Coordinate change implementation, provide change monitoring, and complete post-implementation reviews.
  • Support preparation of operational readiness reports and review operational readiness acceptance documentation.
  • Analyze and process complex engineering change requests to determine their impact on the overall system.
  • Ensure change control by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers, site leads, engineers, and network administrators regarding change management procedures.
  • Serve as GDIT Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Change Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or clinical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience with configuration management support, including designing and establishing Change Management programs.
  • Experience with process development and management.
  • Experience with configuration management tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP Certification.
  • ITIL V4 Foundation or equivalent higher certifications.
  • Experience supporting multinational customers.
  • Experience utilizing change management tools such as Tableau, JIRA, ServiceNow, or SCSM.
