About the position

The Organization Effectiveness Manager at Mercy is responsible for leading the planning and implementation of large-scale organizational effectiveness initiatives across the ministry. This role involves collaboration with various leaders and departments to ensure that the initiatives align with Mercy's mission and values, ultimately enhancing the overall effectiveness of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of organizational effectiveness plans and processes.
  • Collaborate with Mercy leaders and other departments to drive ministry-wide initiatives.
  • Ensure that all initiatives are consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.
  • Facilitate training and coaching for change agents and educators within the organization.
  • Manage conflict and foster strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Organization Development & Effectiveness and Change Management.
  • Master's degree required, with a preference for degrees in Organization Development, I/O Psychology, HRD, or related fields.
  • Change methodology certification is required.
  • 7-10 years of applicable experience is preferred.
  • Experience in partnering with Lean/process improvement and project management professionals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Varied background in operational or management roles.
