About the position

The Change Manager for Legacy System Data Migration to Cloud at Calinfonet Inc. is a pivotal role designed to lead and manage the change process associated with migrating legacy system data to the cloud. This position requires an experienced professional who can ensure a smooth transition of data while minimizing disruption to business operations. The successful candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy that supports the migration, identifies key stakeholders, assesses the impact of the change, and creates a tailored communication and engagement plan. The role also involves establishing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of change management activities, ensuring project success. In this role, the Change Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all change management activities related to the data migration project. This includes collaborating with project teams, IT, and business units to ensure alignment on change initiatives. Regular stakeholder analysis will be conducted to understand concerns, address resistance, and ensure buy-in across the organization. The Change Manager will also develop and execute a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed about the progress, benefits, and impacts of the migration project. Training programs will be designed and delivered to ensure employees are adequately prepared for the new cloud environment, along with the creation of user guides, FAQs, and other support materials to assist employees during the transition. Risk and impact assessments will be a critical part of this role, where the Change Manager will identify potential risks associated with the migration and develop mitigation strategies. Monitoring and addressing any issues that arise during the transition will be essential to ensure minimal disruption to operations. The Change Manager will work closely with the project management team to ensure that change management activities are integrated into the overall project plan, tracking and reporting on the progress of these initiatives to senior leadership. Continuous improvement will be promoted by collecting feedback from stakeholders throughout the migration process to identify areas for enhancement in future projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, particularly in relation to change management practices.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, IT, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in change management, preferably in IT or cloud migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale change initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and legacy systems is a plus.
