About the position

Tantus Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Change Manager to support a small team in navigating complex and politically sensitive situations within a government agency. The role focuses on facilitating change management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to employees, and aligning stakeholders on transformation goals.

Responsibilities

• Help navigate significant structural and political transformation.
• Assess necessary actions and stakeholder readiness for participation.
• Facilitate alignment activities among executives and stakeholders regarding current and future states.
• Plan and execute timely communication with initiative sponsors and stakeholders.
• Adapt to changing responsibilities and project scopes as needed.
• Facilitate decision-making through accurate and actionable reporting.
• Establish metrics to measure success and impact of transformation efforts.
• Identify operational risks and collaborate with the team to address them.
• Continuously improve processes related to change management.
• Identify training opportunities for staff in change management.
• Provide informal coaching on change management methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on change management experience
• Proven experience in change management within a government or complex organizational setting
• Hands-on approach to managing small operational tasks
• Experience with workshop or group discussion facilitation
• Ability to work well within cross-functional teams, including policy specialists
• Experience in breaking down large problems into smaller ones and generating ideas
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in reporting to executive leadership
• Experience in giving advice confidently while respecting audience authority and expertise
• Ability to translate abstract objectives into concrete next steps
• Adept at negotiating and managing expectations with various stakeholders
• Professional handling of criticism and feedback.
