About the position

As a Change Manager at Lumos, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating organizational projects and initiatives, focusing on the people side of change. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing, supporting, and equipping individuals to adopt and utilize changes in organizational structure, business processes, and systems. You will be responsible for minimizing resistance, maximizing adoption, and achieving desired results through effective change management strategies. Your role will involve conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying key stakeholders from both a people and process perspective. You will create actionable deliverables for core change management plans, including the Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan. In this position, you will effectively communicate with project stakeholders, identify and analyze risks and resistance to change, and enable the design, development, delivery, and management of important communications. Collaborating with trainers, you will develop programs that help employees understand and adapt to change. You will also define and measure success metrics, monitor change progress, and work closely with project managers and technical teams to integrate change management activities into project plans. Your responsibilities will include managing product and development plans with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with company objectives, monitoring the effectiveness of organizational change management activities, and proposing actions to resolve any obstacles. Additionally, you will provide clear, streamlined written and oral updates regarding milestones, status, risks, achievements, processes, methods, technologies, and proposed solutions. Building and maintaining effective professional relationships with internal and external contacts and vendors at all levels will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience managing end-to-end change in people, processes, and business systems.
  • Hands-on experience identifying change problems at an early stage and effectively solving them.
  • Proven experience in working in project teams and executing a change program.
  • Change management certification a plus (PROSCI, ITIL, etc).
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in team settings and across disparate teams.
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts.
  • Proficient time management abilities.
