About the position

The Analyst, Change Management at Freedom Mortgage is a pivotal role responsible for navigating the complexities of regulatory and compliance changes that impact the servicing business areas. This position requires a thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company-specific regulations, policies, and guidelines. The Change Management Analyst will review all mortgage-related regulatory changes and updates, utilizing their expertise to determine the implications of these changes on the servicing operations. This involves translating technical regulatory material into clear and actionable communications for various departments within Freedom Mortgage. In this role, the analyst will work closely with Servicing Management, compliance, and legal teams, leading regular meetings with the Change Committee, which includes senior and middle management. The analyst will assess the impact of regulatory changes and collaborate with the Change Management Manager to design and implement strategies that support the organization through these transitions. This includes developing communication plans and leadership messaging to prepare target audiences for upcoming changes, ensuring the success of the initiatives. The Change Management Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining documentation related to all servicing changes, communicating these changes to all affected parties, and providing support to employees and managers regarding any questions or concerns related to the change process. The ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively is crucial, as is the capacity to work independently and exercise discretion in decision-making. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but plays a critical role in facilitating change within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, or five to eight years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, research, and decipher regulatory and compliance material.
  • Strong language skills to analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals effectively.
  • Mathematical skills to work with concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and geometry.
  • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
