Empower AI is seeking a Change Manager to join our team in Fort Huachuca, AZ. This role is pivotal in assisting customers with understanding product configurations and managing the change process effectively. The Change Manager will be responsible for developing control processes and policies that ensure deployment activities align with business needs. This position requires a proactive approach to configuration management, ensuring that version controls are in place to maintain software integrity. The Change Manager will interact directly with all team elements, including management, to track discrepancies and changes against established baselines, managing the change control database efficiently. In this role, the Change Manager will also be responsible for training personnel on the proper methodologies to maintain a proactive configuration management program. Daily support and direction will be provided to staff regarding change status requirements, deadlines, and any arising issues. The Change Manager will control configuration baselines and interfaces through Engineering Change Proposal/Specification processing, compiling and maintaining master records for the establishment and change of configuration baselines, the engineering release system, and configuration status accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuration management, with the ability to sit or stand for long periods, ambulate throughout an office, and lift weights up to 25 pounds. This position may require travel by land or air transportation up to 15%.
