About the position

The Change Manager Intern at Hewlett Packard is a summer internship role focused on supporting Change Managers in managing the progress of Change Management initiatives. The intern will assist in various aspects of change management, from planning and business case creation to the delivery of benefits, while collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to the development of change management practices within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide Change Management support for critical transformation efforts in business units and functions.
• Coach stakeholders or project leaders on various aspects of leading and managing through change.
• Provide support and guidance on approaches or solutions to resolving roadblocks and potential areas of resistance.
• Collaborate with members of the Transformation Management Office to support the development, reviews, and implementation of Change plans.
• Be an ambassador for strengthening HP's Change Management practices and culture.
• Participate in the Change community program, sharing insights and experiences in Change management to help other practitioners.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of organizational change management.
• Ability to build strong working partnerships with stakeholders and influence across junior levels within the business.
• Effective communication skills.
• Entry-level project planning development from discovery through deployment.

Nice-to-haves

• Prosci Change Practitioner certified or willingness to attain certification.
• Exposure and participation in developing and maintaining Change Management plans across multiple functions.
