About the position

The Organizational Change Manager will focus on establishing the infrastructure readiness of healthcare facilities for the implementation of the EHR solution. This role involves strategizing and executing organizational transformations in communication infrastructure, ensuring that technology service delivery processes and systems are effectively aligned with organizational needs. The manager will evaluate change impacts, conduct readiness assessments, and facilitate the adoption of new technologies to optimize service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for strategizing and executing organizational transformations in communication infrastructure.
  • Create and deliver strategies and plans to help employees maximize the adoption of new technology service delivery framework and EHR.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of communication channels setup.
  • Manage and supervise the local communication networks and associated tools (e.g., bridges, routers, etc.).
  • Develop both short and long-term strategies to align communication systems with organizational needs.
  • Spearhead the design and integration of communication networks, ensuring seamless connectivity through various technologies.
  • Analyze hardware and software solutions to evaluate their compatibility and performance within the current organizational framework.
  • Prepare comprehensive assessments and vendor equipment evaluations.
  • Generate network monitoring/performance reports for LAN/WAN utilization studies, providing insights into system efficiency.
  • Recommend enhancements and modifications to optimize system reliability and efficiency.
  • Conduct survey assessments to identify potential risks.
  • Develop tailored strategies, training, and project plans.
  • Facilitate focus groups to discuss bottlenecks hindering infrastructure improvements and establish mitigation plans.
  • Analyze client LANs/WANs, isolate sources of problems, and recommend reconfiguration and implementation of new network hardware to increase performance.
  • Provide transitional support by focusing on change stabilization and optimizing results to ensure long-term success.
  • Utilize interactive dashboards and reports to visualize and trend technology metrics.
  • Identify potential personnel risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
  • Conduct organizational change readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical manner.
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track and report on the adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual technology changes.
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps and work to develop and implement corrective actions regarding network technology delivery services.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Organizational Change Management, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in a computer-related field.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large scale projects leveraging traditional project management and agile adaptability.
  • A proven Change Leader with results-driven experience in leading large, complex, transformative programs.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, able to synthesize information and tailor communication style and content for a variety of audiences.
  • Progressive experience in planning, designing, implementation, and analyzing data of telecommunications networks to facilitate organizational change.
  • Experience with network analysis/management tools and techniques and familiarity with Personal Computers (PCs) in a client/server environment.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, FDDI and high speed WANs, routers, bridges, and switches.
  • Expertise in healthcare technology load balancing efforts to achieve optimum device utilization and network performance.
