About the position

The Change Manager position is a critical role within our organization, located in Baltimore, MD. This long-term hybrid role requires the individual to be onsite three days a week. The primary focus of this position is to develop and implement change management strategies that facilitate the successful adoption of changes within the organization. The Change Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including employees, clients, and suppliers, to ensure that changes are communicated effectively and that all parties are prepared for the transition. In this role, the Change Manager will be responsible for planning and executing change management activities, which includes developing comprehensive plans that outline the steps necessary for successful change implementation. Communication is a key component of this position, as the Change Manager will need to convey changes clearly and concisely to all stakeholders involved. Additionally, the Change Manager will provide training and coaching to project managers and business leaders to equip them with the skills needed to manage change effectively. Risk management is another essential aspect of this role, as the Change Manager will need to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate disruptions that may arise during the implementation of new processes. Conflict resolution skills will also be necessary, as the Change Manager will be tasked with resolving conflicts that may occur between teams or among team members. Furthermore, the Change Manager will conduct change impact assessments to evaluate how changes will affect the organization and will perform business readiness analyses to ensure that the organization is prepared for the upcoming changes. The Change Manager will also be responsible for reinforcing change within the organization, creating customized processes that meet the specific needs of the organization, and fostering an environment that is conducive to change. Evaluating team members to assess their readiness for change will also be a part of the Change Manager's responsibilities, ensuring that the organization is fully prepared to embrace new initiatives.
