About the position

ASM, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking dedicated Changeover Staff to join our Operations team in Richmond, VA. This part-time position is crucial for the successful setup and teardown of various events at our venues, including the Richmond Coliseum, Altria Theater, Richmond CenterStage, and Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center. The Changeover Staff will work closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure that all event requirements are met efficiently and effectively. The role involves a variety of tasks, including the moving, arranging, setting up, and removing of items necessary for events. This includes the setup and teardown of stages, tables, chairs, barricades, linens, and equipment. Additionally, the staff will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of animal penning as needed. Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities is also a key responsibility, which includes buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, and cleaning toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, arena seats, and trash cans. The Changeover Staff will also be expected to assist with clean-up during and after events, ensuring that the venues are left in pristine condition. This position requires flexibility in working hours, as shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings, sometimes under adverse conditions, is essential. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and have some experience using hand tools, although this is preferred rather than required.
