About the position

The Changeover Crew Laborer at PPL Center is responsible for performing a variety of general labor duties as assigned. This role is essential for ensuring that the venue is prepared for various events, which includes building conversions, setting up and breaking down equipment such as chairs, tables, ice rinks, and staging. The position also involves housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization within the venue. The hourly wage for this position is set at $15.00, and it is classified as a regular part-time role. The Changeover Crew Laborer must be flexible with their schedule, as work may be required during nights, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules. This is an evergreen role, meaning applications are accepted on an ongoing basis without a specific deadline.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor as assigned
• Build conversions for various events
• Set up and break down chairs, tables, ice rink, staging, etc.
• Conduct housekeeping duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on events, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to follow basic instructions and directions
• Ability to perform general labor tasks
• Capability to lift heavy objects, specifically up to 50lbs consistently
