About the position

The Channel Account Manager at ABB is responsible for developing and maintaining productive relationships with assigned channel partners, focusing on project quotations, order management, customer training, and stock maintenance. This hybrid role contributes to the Electrification Smart Buildings division, targeting small electrical contractors and multi-family projects, while implementing channel sales strategies within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
  • Creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies.
  • Reporting the progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Conducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving any identified problems.
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with assigned small electrical contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales.
  • Experience with complex contract negotiations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the electrical industry and ABB products.
  • Experience working with contractors and channel partners.
  • Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training preferred.
  • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools.
