About The Position

The Channel Development Manager for Club will play a crucial role in shaping the commercial strategy for Club customers, including Costco, Sam's, and BJ's. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional partners and the field sales team to drive growth in the Soup, Meals & Sauces, and Specialty business units. The role emphasizes customer focus, project management, and business insights to enhance operational efficiency and achieve key business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple layers of stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mentality.
  • Strong analytical thinking and analysis capability.
  • Ability to read and utilize syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen).
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to conduct meetings at high levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Category and brand knowledge preferred.
  • Project management or innovation commercialization experience preferred.
  • P&L management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support best-in-class strategies and plans by partnering closely with field sales, sales strategy, and brand teams.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of customers and their plans to deliver key business objectives.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between separate business units and customer organizations.
  • Establish a growth platform by identifying business opportunities and coordinating resources to achieve desired results.
  • Improve processes and efficiencies related to customer business, supply chain, and service through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage and drive visibility to projects through the commercialization process.
  • Provide timely updates on key milestones and business-critical deliverables to all involved teams.
  • Track, analyze, and make strategic recommendations based on competitive intel and customer feedback.
  • Contribute to forecasting and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, engaging in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings.
  • Develop and optimize promotional plans and ensure execution for channels.
